Water is Achromatic

Art+23.jpg

Pure water is achromatic: Completely colorless. It's also transparent, tasteless, odorless, has no calories and no nutrients.

But water is critical for survival and fundamental to photosynthesis, respiration and cell replication. Not only can we not live without it— were made of it— The human body is 60% water but would die after about 100 hours without a drink. Water intoxication on the other hand, can occur by drinking too much, too fast also resulting in death. And a person can drown in as little as a few teaspoons.

Water is the grand enigma. If there is magic on earth, it is contained in water.
