Everything in Moderation

Don’t obsess over weight loss and calories. The Okinawan way is to do all things with mindfulness. Turn off the television and other digital devices, and as you eat, listen to your body and slow down. Savor the mealtime, responding to cues that you are no longer hungry. Use smaller plates and tall narrow glasses. You’ll eat significantly less but still be satisfied.
