The unconquerable Sun

Sun-day worship is the setting aside of the first day of the week for the worship of the sun deity, known in Babylon as Tammuz, in Persia as Mithra, in Greece as Helios and in Rome as Sol Invictus. Egyptians gave Amun-Ra the role of a creative power responsible for all life on earth, in heaven and in the Tuat.
