Don't do Random

DON’T DO RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS

Instead, let's do concerted acts of kindness. Perhaps, rather than smiling at a stranger or leaving quarters behind at a laundromat, we could join together and create purposeful, collective deeds aimed at solving social and economic issues. If you do a random act of kindness for a stranger and it's a one-shot deal, there is much less likelihood that you're going to see a benefit or even feel good about it. Buying a cup of coffee for the cute girl behind you in the drive-thru hardly qualifies as kindness anyway. Get together with people who share your desire to make a difference and make a plan. Take action, see where it takes you.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. In fact, it is the only thing that ever has. --Anthropologist, Margaret Mead's profound observation has never been more true than today.

Our aim should be to eradicate issues such as hunger and homelessness. Organized groups can sustain these efforts because the sharing of these kind acts is exponential.

So what are you going to do?
